This spring, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and Hanson Dodge Creative received a Bronze Award in the Total Advertising with TV category of the Healthcare Advertising Awards for their “Kids deserve the best” campaign.
“Kids deserve the best” is an integrated, multifaceted marketing program developed by HDC to increase awareness for all of the services offered at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin facilities. It launched in April 2013 with print, radio, television and digital media components and focuses on the emotional connection between parents and their children. The TV spots feature real kids talking about the care they’ve received at Children’s.
Ken Hanson, chief executive and creative officer at Hanson Dodge Creative, spearheaded the campaign concept. “We are grateful to be recognized for our work with Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin to bring additional visibility to the incredible work their dedicated team does each day in putting kids first across this state,” he said. “To know how impactful the work was and now to be recognized for it by the Healthcare Advertising Awards is a true honor.”
